I have asked numerous people to define the term GMO and I have yet to come across one person who could give a totally correct answer, so I thought it was time to give some space in a newsletter explaining it.
GMO stands for Genetically Modified Organisms. When a plant’s genes are manipulated by the Biotech industry, the result is no longer a plant, due to animal, fungus, and chemical induced genes mixed into it. It is an “organisms.” Disregarding the basic laws of nature, scientists crossbreed plants to animals, fungus, parasites, viruses, antibiotics, petro-chemical fertilizer, fungicides, & herbicides, creating results that can no longer be recognized by Mother Nature as plant or animal. Now you understand what Frankenfood, GE food (Genetic Engineering), & GMO’s are.
A good example is wheat. It has flounder genes (fish), ergot (fungus), petro-chemical fertilizer, herbicide (Round Up) and synthetic hormones…etc which make up the gene composition of your modern GMO wheat. This is why you may not call it a wheat plant because it is not a plant, having multiple organisms’ genes.
What does Mother Nature think of GMO wheat? “Well, let’s see,” she scratches her head in bewilderment. “It resembles a plant I created called wheat, but a plant doesn’t contain fish genetic material, nor fungus material, nor chemicals in its genes. The end product is esoteric, bizarre, never ever seen before sugars, proteins, starches… etc. So what do I do with all this weird, basically unrecognizable stuff that you have eaten? I use what I can, then throw a big hammer, called sulphuric acid, to try to break it down, and then the rest creates allergies, disease, and cancer.” You wonder why so many people are allergic to wheat and so many other common foods? Or why they are becoming more acid? Wonder no more.
Two year old information from the Organic Consumers Association (http://www.organicconsumers.org/) stated that lab tests and industry disclosure indicate that 60-70% of all non-organic supermarket food tests positive for the presence of genetically engineered (GE) ingredients. The actual percentage is much higher because there are no labeling law requirements for GMO food. The wholesalers, when purchasing grain, will usually mix non-GMO product with GMO product so the presence of GMO ingredients is probably in the high 90%.
Did you know that you DO NOT DIGEST THE FOOD YOU EAT? Neither do plants, and animals! Plants do not have the capability to secrete sufficiently strong acids to break down rock in order to obtain the rock’s minerals. What plants do is the same as what you do; consume food, which is then processed by the soil-based microorganisms into material that is then absorbed.
Genetically engineered organisms (planimals) secrete weird, never before seen sugars, starches, proteins, and enzymes to be processed by the soil-based microorganisms. So across the planet, we have 403,200,000 acres of land growing genetically modified organisms, which are secreting UFOs (Unidentified Food Objects) for the naturally occurring 40,000 different types of soil-based microorganisms. In other words, we are, through the usage of UFOs, genetically modifying 40,000 species of naturally occurring soil-based microorganisms. This is something to be really concerned about.

It’s important to share this information because everyone is participating in the consumption of GMO’s. The sky rocketing statistics of cancer and diabetes is not accidental. This is a created statistic. We must not be complacent or our loved ones and we will be part of that statistic.
From a day-to-day practical viewpoint, in order to minimize GMO consumption, one should try to eat Certified Organic Food or foods from farmers that you know grow their food naturally without pesticides, hormones, or GMO contamination. It is vitally important that you understand that by eating Certified Organic Food, you are avoiding GMOs (no longer plants), pesticides, fungicides, petro-chemical fertilizer and herbicides. You cannot wash pesticides off from commercial food no matter how much soaking or scrubbing you do because the toxins are intrinsic (meaning within the plant.) In other words, the insect has to eat the plant to be killed. When you purchase organic food you are getting higher nutrition. Never use non-organic fruits and vegetables for juicing, because you are concentrating the pesticides! You can do more harm than good to your body.
Water Warning: Lead; The Truth Part IV
How safe is your water? The EPA acknowledges that there is no safe level of lead in the drinking water, and most cities’ water reports will show “Virtually lead-free” or “safe.” This would make the average person feel comfortable about the quantity of lead in their water. However, lead in the drinking water is a major problem. According to The Good Housekeeping magazine February 2005 issue, in America there are between 2-5 million LEAD service lines that supply city water to residential homes that were built before 1986. So why haven’t they been removed, since the EPA standard is 15 parts per billion? Because the cities complain that the replacement with lead-free pipes would be cost-prohibitive, and they can’t afford to do it. The other problem is that water pipes were connected using lead solder until 1988, and brass fixtures (including faucets, valves and water meters) may contain up to 8% lead, even if words “lead free” appear on the package. Replacing all of these pipes would total an estimation of $14 billion.
So what this means, is that your city may not test high levels of lead in the water at the municipal source, but there may be significant levels in the water by the time it reaches your house!
And, worse, the city doesn’t have to take any steps to reduce lead water levels unless 10% or more of those homes tested show elevated lead levels. The EPA’s requirement for testing is 100 randomly chosen homes – even in large cities. Many large cities, like Washington DC and New York city are in violation of the EPA laws, but very little has been done. The Washington Post recently published an expose, and obtained documents that show that Boston, Detroit, Philadelphia, and Providence may also be breaking the rules. By government estimates, more than ten million Americans may be drinking water contaminated with lead. From 2000-2003, 264 US water authorities reported that their water exceeded the EPA’s action level at least once.
And what about your child’s school? Schools that are older than 1986 almost certainly have lead pipes and lead solder, and your child may be getting toxic levels of lead from drinking from the water fountain. Research shows that drinking water is now responsible for at least 20 % of a child’s lead exposure. A 2003 study by Cornell University showed that levels below CDC (Center for Disease Control) standards can result in a loss of IQ points, high blood pressure, miscarriages, and kidney disease.
What the Good Housekeeping magazine didn’t mention is a much higher source of lead being ADDED by the city Water Department in the form of fluoridation. The chemical soup called hydrofluorosilicic acid that adds fluoride into the city water contains arsenic, fluoride, lead and other heavy metals. The waste acids in this material further help to dissolve the various lead pipes and fixtures, and makes the naturally occurring arsenic and other elements more bio-available (more easily absorbed into the body’s tissues).
When Clearwater FL water officials added fluoridation to our water in June 2004, we noticed that the toilet bowl gaskets started to dissolve and we had to replace them with higher acid resistant rubber gaskets.

Rising Cancer Rates
I was surfing the internet the other day and I came across a startling statement on msn.com news, which stated, “For the first time, cancer has surpassed heart disease as the top killer of Americans under 85, health officials said Wednesday, January 19, 2005.”
Why is this so? Well you have only to look at the following factors to determine the cause. The truth is that it is multiple factors stemming from truly unacceptable drinking water, genetically engineered foods, food preservatives and additives, as well as toxic fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides and herbicides. In addition, in the last 7 years, satellites and global positioning equipment have added major pollution in an unbelievably large volume called EMF (Electro Magnetic Frequencies). This consists of a highly positive charge blasting from cell phones, pagers, computers, security systems, military communication systems…etc.
How can you keep from becoming part of the statistic? Call me for my health re-education, and in addition, correct your water. Though it may seem expensive to make the water that you drink and bathe in healthy, it is cheaper than handling a major health crisis, is it not?
