5 Families of Microbes That Digest Food for All Plants and Animals by Winston Kao
In school, we learn that plants use their roots break down rocks to create soil. This is not exactly true. Plants’ roots systems do not secrete sufficiently strong acids to break down rock. What is actually true is that plants secrete sugars, starches and other materials that are consumed by soil-based microbes that convert it into the strong acids necessary to break down the rock. Other microbes further consume their by-products or waste. This process repeats itself many times, forming a complex digestive system and soil fertility building process.
In the humans and animals digestive systems, we consume sugars, starches, fats, and proteins, which are broken down by the various soil-based microbes to create the needed building blocks for the body. We run into problems when one or more species of microbes are missing or a single specie is growing disproportionately greater than the other species (as in the case of Candidiasis). One ends up with improper digestion, some form of sickness, and usually, the body becomes more acidic.
Probiotics is a euphemism for soil-based microorganisms, which plants use to break down the soil and minerals for their growth. Animals use the very same microbes to digest their food. Soil based microorganisms are the foundation of our environment. So you see, consuming the correct probiotics is a vital action for having a good and healthy body.
Normally, probiotics are obtained by consumption of raw vegetables, raw fruits, and raw meats. However, in our modern society, most fruits and vegetables are overly washed and most will not consider eating any raw meat and probably shouldn’t if one has no source of truly clean meat. Therefore, one needs to supplement probiotics.
Probiotics that are usually available to the American public have come to be reduced to a couple of species of lactobacillus bacteria to help digestion, instead of the full-spectrum soil-based microbe organisms, which Mother Nature uses.
Today, in America and several other countries, we still do not have any labeling requirements for GMO (genetically engineered organisms). The general American public is also poorly educated on the subject of Genetic Engineering or what does Genetically Modified Organisms consists of. Most are completely unaware that the true dangers of GMOs reside in the fact that these GMOs are not following the traditional DNA patents of planet Earth. Therefore, they are capable of producing never ever seen before chemicals, proteins, sugars, starches, and these compounds are euphemistically called “funny” proteins, “funny” sugars, etc.
Most people think of GMOs as corn, soy, wheat, and canola. However, the list is significantly broader, including crookneck squashes, tomatoes, potatoes, and in the microorganism world, we have a variety of genetically modified organisms such as the common brewer’s yeast, used to make bread and beer and sold as yeast powders. The typical lactobacillus with it’s several different species. These too have been genetically altered and it’s virtually impossible to tell which brands consist of GMOs and which ones are still the traditional heirloom microorganism. Inner Garden™: A multi-family and multi-specie culture that is more than just a few species of lactobacillus.
The Inner Garden™ is a full-spectrum probiotic that consists of naturally occurring beneficial microorganisms that work together creating beneficial effects on every living organism. Many of these safe, helpful microorganisms are used in processing cheese, soy sauce, yogurt, and other familiar fermented foods. Many of them are on the US FDA GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) list. Inner Garden’s™ applications extend from human and animal digestion to making fertile soils, robust livestock, wonderful compost, pond cleanup, and even wastewater treatment.
Inner Garden™ is a full-spectrum soil-based microorganism culture. It consists of five major families of microorganisms:
Lactic Acid bacteria: These are the most commonly found microorganisms. These microbes have been in use in the fermentation of pickles and vegetables, as well as the processing of milk into buttermilk or yogurt. These microbes are the ones that make up commonly available probiotic formulations.
Photosynthetic bacteria: These microbes synthesize useful substances and break them down into sugars and carbohydrates. They produce amino acids, which are necessary to further break down organic matter into useable energy.
Yeast: These microbes produce useful substances from the amino acids and sugars produced by the photosynthetic bacteria. Yeast also produces bioactive substances such as hormones and enzymes. Their secretions are useful to lactic acid bacteria and Actinomycetes.
Actinomycetes: These microbes produce anti-microbial substances from the amino acids that are secreted by the photosynthetic bacteria. These antimicrobial substances help to limit the growth of harmful fungi and bacteria. They work together with photosynthetic bacteria to eliminate harmful microbes and increase the activity of beneficial ones.
Fermenting Fungi: These number several groups, which decompose organic matter rapidly to produce alcohol, antimicrobial substances, and other substances. These fungi help to control odors and prevent infestation of harmful insects and maggots by eliminating their food supply.
Each group of species in Inner Garden™ has their own important function, however the photosynthetic bacteria are the hub of Inner Garden™ activity. They enhance the activities of the other microbes, as well as utilizing the substances produced by the other microbes. This is a synergistic phenomenon referred to as the principle of “Coexistence and Co-prosperity.”
We provide 100% non-GMO (non-genetically modified organisms) products.
