You can now achieve a 100% Chlorine Free Pool & Jacuzzi without replacing it with other toxic methods and chemicals. Such as the systems that use various kinds of toxic fungicides, algaecides or heavy metals such as copper (turns into copper sulfate) or silver.
This is a Hydrogen peroxide plus an EarthCore™ (Electro-Mechanical Water Conditioner) Pool System. Together they will provide you with the simplest and easiest pool to maintain as well as create a environmental friendly pool and jacuzzi.
This 100% Chlorine free pool system is VERY easy to maintain. One does NOT need to constantly watch the pH levels, pouring in pH up and pH down and other chemicals to maintain the pool. The pH will go up slowly to 8.4-8.5 and just sit there. To create a 100% Chlorine Free Pool or Jacuzzi System, one needs to install a 3/4 inch Electro-Mechanical Water Conditioner or 1/2 inch Electro-Mechanical Water Conditioner for small pools and Jacuzzi. For 30,000 - 50,000 gallons 1 inch Electro-Mechanical Water Conditioner.
In addition one has to add sodium percarbonate (which will turn into hydrogen peroxide when it comes into contact with water). Sodium percarbonate is environmentally friendly.
Hydrogen peroxide/Electro-Mechanical Water Conditioning pool systems only require observation of green algae patches forming at the bottom of the pool. When this begins to happen you know the hydrogen peroxide is low. Add 2-4 pounds of sodium percarbonate or 2-4 gallons of hydrogen peroxide, whichever chemical you are using for SHOCKING THE POOL. For maintenance use 1-2 pounds of sodium percarbonate or 1-2 gallons of hydrogen peroxide per week. The pH will go up to 8.4-8.5 and just sit there. You do not need to do anything to maintain it.
DO NOT ADD pH DOWN TO LOWER THE pH! If you do so you will no longer be able to open your eyes under the water, as it will burn the eyes like most pools do.
The usual pool piping systems use 1 ¼ to 1 ½ PVC. The ¾ inch Electro-Mechanical Water Conditioner will have a bypass/valve system to allow excess water to go via the By-pass system. The valve controls the rate of water that goes through the system, this prevents pump over-load and allows the maximum flow rate through the Electro-Mechanical Water Conditioner.
Pool & Jacuzzi Maintenance Instructions
For Pools which are using an Electro-Mechanical Water Conditioner and sodium percarbonate (a.k.a. non-chlorine bleach).
-
Start by shocking the pool with 3-4 pounds of sodium percarbonate per week.
-
The pH will slowly go up to 8.4 - 8.5 and just sit there. (This may take several months to reach) You do not need to do anything about the pH!
-
DO NOT ADD pH DOWN TO LOWER THE pH! If you add pH DOWN it will immediately make one’s eyes BURN! THE NATURAL CONDITION FOR A POOL THAT IS TREATED WITH THE Electro-Mechanical Water Conditioner IS TO BALANCE ITSELF AT 8.4 - 8.5 pH. So DO NOT attempt to change the pH levels!
-
Maintain the pool with 1-4 pounds of sodium percarbonate per week.
-
Clean the pool with normal cleaning materials such as acid and soap to keep the scum and limescale cleaned off the sides of the pool.
-
During the summer time when large volumes of people are swimming in the pool, you will need to add more sodium percarbonate.
-
After heavy rain the hydrogen peroxide that has formed in the pool will be diluted and you will need to shock the pool with another 2-4 pounds of sodium percarbonate.
-
During the winter time the sodium percarbonate can be reduced to 2-4 pounds per month.
-
OxyClean is only 50-60% sodium percarbonate but OxyBoost is 80-90% (you'd basically have to use 2x the amount of OxyClean). OxyClean is good in a pinch, but the OxyBoost is working much better.
These instructions are good for pools from 5,000-18,000 gallon sizes. For larger pools you will need to add more.
