Special Instructions for usage of Ozone / EarthCore™ / Hercules™ system
When handling iron and sulfur bacteria the standard American technology is to use toxic chlorine. However, they are other saner technologies that have been around for over a century.
Mainly the oxygen 02, hydrogen peroxide, H2O2, or ozone O3 technology. And when you add our modern technology of electro-mechanical technology, one can have bacteria-free clean water without resorting to chlorine and getting all the chlorine by-product toxicities.
-
If you have a large tank 500 gallons to 2,000 gallons tank.
-
Iron or sulfur problem.
-
The set-up is as follows:
-
Water storage tank
-
Ozone generator
-
EarthCore™
-
Water recirculating pump
-
Calcite Tank™ to correct low pH issue
-
Hercules™ Iron sulfur filter to remove precipitated iron and sulfur.
-
Carbon Filter, preferably a back flushable system to maintain constant freshness.
Note: Calcite Tank™ to correct low pH issue is only needed if you have low pH below 6.8 and this tank can be controlled so as to use more or less of the calcite to correct the more acidic conditions.
Note: Carbon filter should always be used to handle chlorine, chlorine-byproducts, naturally occurring organic compounds and various types of pollution. It also is the primary filter used to improve taste.
