Water is vital for the health and survival of every living thing.

Water is used to bring in nutrients to nourish the body. It helps in digestion. It is used to dispose of the body's waste products.

It is paramount, therefore, to consume water that allows the intake of nutrients and the expelling of toxic waste to occur effectively, efficiently, and correctly in order to maintain the body's electrical system that is the foundation of good health.

Water Filtration

Today, city water across the United States has many problems. Just a few examples:

• Chlorine, which is added to disinfect our water, creates chlorine by-products such as THMs (Trihalomethanes) which are known or suspected carcinogens.

• In order to reduce the amount of THMs in the water, cities are now adding ammonia in addition to the chlorine, to create chloramines. Kidney dialysis patients and pregnant women are warned not to drink chloraminated water.

• Fluoride is added in many cities "for your dental health." The fluoride compound that is added to the water is the waste product of the metal plating industry (sulfuric acids, phosphoric acids and all the various heavy metals) which is then used in Florida's phosphate mining industry. It is used to wash out the fluoride, the naturally occurring strontium 90, and results in a "chemical soup" known as hydrofluorosilicic acid. It is against the law to dump this material in the rivers or the oceans but perfectly legal to add it to our drinking water!

• Though lead pipes have been illegal for some time in homes, many cities still use them to deliver water to your house and have not replaced them due to the expense involved. Most schools still have lead pipes. The EPA acknowledges that there is no safe level of lead, but they are still in use.
